Pilot Honor Geological Geocaching - Terry Trecartin
Terry Trecartin from the Standifer Gap club will be piloting this new honor for clubs who are interested. There are a few things to keep in mind. There are two pre-requisites; the Geocaching honor and either the Geology honor or the Rocks and Minerals honor. These must be completed before working on the Geological Geocaching Honor pilot project. The groups that work on this honor will give written feed-back on any suggestions they might have for making the honor better or more successful. Contact Terry Trecartin at terrytrecartin@yahoo.com for more information or to let him know that you are interested in piloting the honor.
Tennessee Aquarium Opportunity
Last year the Tennessee Aquarium had a day set up that the Boy Scouts and their leaders could come tour it at a reduced rate. Terry Trecartin would like to see how many clubs/Pathfinders and staff might be interested in doing something similar? If you would be interested in having a special Pathfinder Day set up for touring the Tennessee Aquarium let him know. It would be a good time to work on or even earn some honors like Marine Mammals, Moths and Butterflies, Orchids, Endangered Animals, Reptiles and of course, Fishes! It would also be a good witness to people that might not have ever met a Pathfinder and wonder about our co-ed scouts! Remember that this year's them is Nature, this would be a good year to have this activity.
If you have any questions about this or would like to sigh up for this activity Terry is with the Standifer Gap Pathfinders. You can contact him at terrytrecartin@yahoo.com

Pilot Honor - Ripstik
For those of you who were interested in piloting the Ripstik honor, the conference has checked into it and the ripstik is in the same category as skateboarding and therefore will not be considered by the NAD Honor Taskforce for approval as a new honor.
Bible Bowl - 1st & 2nd Corinthians
More information as it is available.
Teen Bible Camp - Feb. 17-19, 2012
The title this year is "This is My Father's World, Past Present & Future"
The topics this year have more of a spiritual tone. The topics requested by the Pathfinders last year were church history, prophecy and end time events, second coming, Biblical authors, the Holy Spirit, role of the Adventist Church today, crucifixion, and technology, media and your Christian life. During one of our general sessions we will have an open Bible study. The Pathfinders are asked to write down questions and we will have a panel made up mostly of pastors, but others as well to answer the questions.
